So you and your ex have broken up and it seems like they may want you back but you are unsure whether you are reading the signals correctly or whether you are just being strung along.
There are certain sure signs that will tell you whether your ex really wants you back, signs that can be trusted. However, there may be some signs that appear hopeful but may not be the real thing and could lead to terrrible disappointment.
Some things that your ex partner may do or say seem like signs that they want to get back with you but it is possible that it is just wishful thinking on your part than true signs of them wanting you back.
For instance, your ex talks about the break up and how they regret that it happened –it does not necessarily mean that they want you back. It could be a way for them to get over it and talking to someone about it helps.
The fact that they may care about how you are and how you are coping with the split also does not mean that they want you back. It could be just their way of dealing with guilt.
If your ex contacts you to talk about practical matters it does not necessarily mean that they want you back. It could simply be that they have a legitimate reason for meeting with you like having to sort out mail, bill payments etc.
Even if your ex has been sleeping with you – it is not a reliable sign of them wanting you back! They could just be hurting and trying to deal with it through sex and may just be using you to that extent. Wanting sex is not the same as wanting a relationship.
Dealing with issues of the heart does not always involve logic and common sense, so how will you really know that your ex wants you back?
You need to be able to recognise the reliable signs that your ex wants you back before you can got to any measures to get them back.
